Dealing with affordable cars started off so well. I needed the car within a week and luckily, they were able to complete everything their side in time. However, after driving the car once I picked it up, I went to watch a football game for about 2 hours, no further than 25 miles away. On my way home, I stopped to get petrol, after paying for petrol the car didn't start. Eventually got it started with some jump leads and drove home, 20 miles away. When I returned home, I tried instantly starting the car again to which it didn't. Due to not being with the AA longer than 24 hours, I had to pay a call out charge of 75 and for them to then tell me the battery was near on completely dead and that it will need replacing for 125. They emailed me all paper work for my records. Spoke with affordable cars and they maintained the battery was in good working order when it clearly wasn't. Refused to refund the full amount of the call out charge or battery and instead offered me 50% of battery cost as a 'good will gesture'. In my opinion, completely unacceptable and i shall not be reccommending them to anyone.

I bought my Ford Focus here, absolutely love the car - very friendly and helped me through the whole process and gave me a great price for my part exchange compared to other local garages. Can't recommend them enough. Thanks guys I'll be back in a couple of years to upgrade again :)
